Kids Country has supported #lockdownlearning since the end of March, creating learning resources to temporarily replace our usual ‘real time’ educational programme which runs throughout the year both at the Showground and within schools. We are now pleased to launch our first Virtual Food and Farming Day!
Over 100 farmers and educators from local and national farms, food businesses, and much more have come together to bring you a fantastic learning experience streamed straight to your home or classroom.
Browse through the 12 zones below, which reflects the Food & Farming Day layout on the Showground, learn everything there is to know about food, farming and the countryside. There are 85 videos to watch and more than 100 worksheets to download. All these resources will remain online throughout the summer school holidays.
Enjoy the Virtual Food Farming Day. We would like to thank everyone who has helped create this and who support our ‘real time’ Kids Country educational programme.
This virtual event will be a great stepping stone to the biggest Food and Farming Day next year on Friday 2nd July 2021, back at the East of England Showground. Save the date!
